The events unfold in New Orleans on November 1, 2026. The Purge has already begun, and a long 120 hours lie ahead—five full days of absolute lawlessness. This bloody cycle has been repeating in America for 67 consecutive years, becoming an inevitable and terrifying routine with no end in sight. The isolated city, with its narrow streets of the French Quarter and surrounding swamps, turns into a perfect trap from which no one can escape until the dawn of the sixth day.

This practice covers absolutely all US states, but the bloody trend has long stepped beyond America's borders. Other countries have adopted the "Culling" mechanism, adjusting the timings to their realities: in the UK, the massacre lasts 24 hours, in Germany, the law is suspended for 48 hours, and Brazil gives the streets over to carnage for a full four days. Mexico plunges into cartel chaos for 72 hours, while Japan and Canada limit themselves to the classic 12 hours, and South Korea turns 10 hours of lawlessness into a brutal top-rated reality show.

At its core, the Purge is a government-sanctioned genocide under the guise of "spiritual cleansing" and stress relief. For the entire 120 hours, emergency services, including police, ambulances, and firefighters, completely shut down. People form brutal gangs, loot, burn buildings, and kill each other for clean water, medicine, or simply for sadistic pleasure. While some hide behind the steel doors of their bunkers in primal terror, others put on masks, take up arms, and take to the streets to drown the city in blood.
