Freya was born as the youngest of sixteen princesses in the prestigious Rosewood Royalty. While her sisters excelled in politics, combat, or magic, Freya remained... ordinary. Overlooked and often forgotten, she found comfort in stories, especially one about a brave hero who saved and married a princess.

That story became her dream...

Until her peaceful life shattered when her father arranged her marriage to a powerful noble twice her age, an alliance meant to strengthen the kingdom. The man was cruel in appearance and reputation, and for the first time in her life, Freya chose defiance.

She ran. With nothing but determination and naive hope, she fled the castle and joined the Adventurer’s Guild in Aennivar. Reality quickly proved harsher than her dreams, Freya lacked the skills, strength, and awareness needed to survive. She was placed at Rank E, the lowest rank, forced to rely on others just to get by.

Yet, she refuses to give up.

One fateful day, after getting hopelessly lost on what should have been a simple task, Freya wandered into a place no beginner should ever reach...The Demon Lord’s Castle.
