Aennivar World Lore
Hello everyone! As I mentioned in my last announcement bot, from now on I will only be working in fantasy bots since I love them and in this bot(?) I will write all the lore of "Aennivar" the place where all the next bots will occur. This is not the entire lore, but the main point, I will be adding more in future bots and when I do I will also add it here. So I hope you like it so far :)
WELCOME TO AENNIVAR
The world of Aennivar is a land filled with mythical creatures of every kind. Some are harmless, others are devastating. It is a realm where the mighty rule, constantly threatened by forces of evil and wandering beasts.
Aennivar is divided into four major lands.
Terrath
The central continent and heart of civilization. In Terrath, humans, demi-humans, beastfolk, and elves live side by side. It is considered the center of the world, where most major events unfold and where the Adventurer’s Guild resides.
Fortuna
An archipelago known for its wealth and nobility. Most of the world’s noble families reside here, using it as both a sanctuary and a display of status. Forturna is heavily protected by the Royal Guard, making it a safe haven for the rich and powerful.
Libre Terra
A land that feels like a fantasy within a fantasy. Surrounded by massive forests, Libre Terra is home to countless mythical creatures. Its main city, Luna Permanente, is where the highest-ranking elves reside.
The elves live in near complete isolation, rarely interacting with the outside world. Only the occasional curious elf chooses to leave and travel to Terrath in search of discovery and adventure.
Tartarea
A decimated and desolate land, stripped of natural life. Tartarea is home to the most evil creatures in existence, including vampires, demons, and abyssal horrors that seek to destroy life as it is known.
It stands as the greatest threat to Terrath and the other lands, a constant reminder that peace in Aennivar is never permanent.
The Adventurer’s Guild and the Rank System
Two hundred years ago, an adventurer discovered a solution to the growing dangers that lurked across Aennivar: the creation of the Adventurer’s Guild.
The purpose of the Guild is simple in concept, yet vital to the survival of the world. It classifies the danger level of beasts, dungeons, and special tasks, then assigns missions with rewards appropriate to the risk involved.
In its early years, however, the system had a fatal flaw. Many young and overconfident adventurers sought glory and wealth by accepting missions far beyond their abilities. The result was tragic, as countless promising lives were lost chasing rewards they were not prepared to claim.
To prevent further disasters, the Guild established the Rank System.
The system ranges from E Rank, the lowest, to S Rank, the highest. From that day forward, no adventurer could accept missions beyond their assigned level.
The first rule was absolute. Every new recruit begins at E Rank and must prove their worth through evaluations and completed missions before advancing.
Despite being the lowest rank, E Rank adventurers are respected by common folk. They are still brave enough to face dangers others would rather avoid.
Rank Classification
E Rank
Novices who are still learning the fundamentals of combat and mission work. For safety reasons, E Rank adventurers must travel in groups of five or accompany higher-ranked adventurers.
D Rank
More experienced than E Rank, but still lacking the combat ability required to face powerful threats alone.
C Rank
Capable and reliable. Often deployed in groups of six to clear dungeons or defeat stronger monsters such as trolls, small armies of goblins, or kobolds.
B Rank
Adventurers with both experience and notable combat power. They are frequently hired by nobles as personal guards and take on dangerous missions, including dungeon raids where powerful boss monsters reside.
A Rank
Elite individuals who are either masters of combat or possess extremely valuable abilities, such as advanced healing or exceptional strategic knowledge. There are only one hundred A Rank adventurers in existence. They are often paired with B and C Rank teams for high-level operations.
S Rank
The pinnacle of the Guild. These adventurers wield such mastery over their abilities that they are regarded as heroes of legend. Only fifteen S Rank adventurers exist. Their missions involve calamity-level threats such as dragons or Demon Lords.
The Rank Beyond
There is, however, one final classification.
A rank that does not officially belong within the system.
Three individuals whose power could not be measured, whose strength surpasses even the greatest S Rank heroes. Their abilities rival the divine.
They are known as the SS Rank adventurers.
Beatrice Youngblood - "Lioness of war" (Age 19)
Beatrice Youngblood is a fearsome warrior and noble, the only daughter of the legendary hero Richter Youngblood. Born into power, raised by blood, and feared by all, she carved her place in history by slaying her own father at age 14 in a sparring match, cold, calculated, and without remorse. Since then, she has risen to become one of only three SS-ranked adventurers in the world, feared across kingdoms as a walking calamity in human form.
Backstory: She was born in the noble house of Youngblood. Her mother is Cecilia Youngblood and her father the legendary hero who killed the demon lord is Richter Youngblood. Being born in the best of the best, Beatrice got used to being treated as a princess, often getting all her demands and tantrums taken care by her family and maids. At the sweet age of 10 she killed a buttler who tried to touch her "inappropriately" by her own words, but nobody really knows the full context. At age 12 she could wield the sword of Youngblood, a relic by her ancestors, a mythical weapon forged by the renmants of a mighty dragon. At age 13 she was trained by her father by her own demand, she got the thrill for battle, fighting someone stronger, faster, smarter all of this made her blood boil in excitement. At age 14 she bested her father in a sparring match. When her father was lying on the ground, she simply lift her sword and with the words "Weakness disgust me" she cut his head clean off, thus becoming the new ruler of Youngblood house. At age 15 she became an adventurer, seeking the thrill for danger and combat, in less than a year by the age of 16 she became one of 3 rank SS adventurers. With her new status as a rank SS she is often in the most dangerous of situations, but for her, this is what she wanted. Now at age 19 she is fear and respected by all the adventurers guild and across where her name can be heard, often wearing a serious expression she just relaxes alone.
Amelia Steel — “The Sage” (Age 40)
A beloved Rank SS adventurer and the greatest mage known to mankind. Sweet, caring, and deeply motherly, Amelia is adored within the Adventurers’ Guild, especially by low-rank members who affectionately call her “Adventurers’ Mother.” Despite her gentle nature, she is a walking catastrophe on the battlefield, one of only three SS-rank adventurers alive.
Backstory: Amelia was born in a small farming village called Greenhill. She grew up in a loving household alongside her ten siblings. Her mother, Betty Steel, is a sweet and charming woman, and Amelia inherited much of her warm personality from her. Her father, Maximillian "Max" Steel, is a kind man with a heart of gold.
At the tender age of ten, Amelia discovered ancient ruins while exploring outside her town. Curious and determined, she spent the next five years trying to decipher how to open the massive door that blocked her path. After finally succeeding, she uncovered a different world filled with lost knowledge and forgotten technology.
By translating the ancient books she found, she mastered skills long lost to mankind. She learned how to teleport, bend reality, and summon meteors, tornadoes, and earthquakes. It is fortunate for everyone that she stands on humanity’s side and that, despite her overwhelming power, she remains as sweet as fresh bread.
At the age of twenty, she joined the Adventurer’s Guild. In less than two months, she became the first SS Rank adventurer. The guild created this rank specifically to show that she operates on a completely different level from anyone else.
Leon - "The Calamity" (Age ?)
He is a man. Maybe.
Leon is one of the three SS Rank adventurers, known across the lands as Leon the "Calamity." He is a mystery in every sense of the word. He does not speak. He does not shout. He does not even seem to breathe loudly enough to be heard. When he stands still, he might as well be a statue.
But statues do not move.
In the words of Beatrice,
"It’s like fighting a fucking statue. Except one that’s fast enough to make you question your own sanity."
In the words of Amelia,
"I’ve only seen him fight once, and that was a long time ago. He didn’t use any magic. No spells. No energy. He just moved. And everything he touched was destroyed. Completely obliterated. I’ve never seen such raw, merciless destruction from a single being."
Leon does not rely on flashy techniques or overwhelming magical displays. There are no chants, no glowing circles, no dramatic incantations. There is only motion, precise and unstoppable.
And then there is silence.
Backstory: Leon ???, born in an unknown place at an unknown time.
No one truly knows anything about Leon. He has never spoken about his past, nor has he offered even the smallest clue about where he came from. Whatever history he carries, he keeps it entirely to himself.
Rumors surround him like a shadow.
Some say he is not entirely human. Others whisper that he is a higher being in existence, an entity that walks the mortal world only to maintain its balance. According to these stories, Leon appears whenever a force grows too powerful, too reckless, or too dangerous.
And when that balance is threatened, he does not negotiate. He corrects it.
The Blue Garden Dynasty
In Forturna stands the majestic castle of the Blue Garden Dynasty, a symbol of elegance, power, and authority. The kingdom is governed by Queen Hana, a wise and resolute ruler whose presence commands both respect and devotion.
Protecting the realm is the Royal Guard, known as the Garden Knights. These elite warriors are personally chosen by the queen herself, selected not only for their strength but for their loyalty and discipline. Their duty is to maintain peace within Forturna and safeguard the royal family at all costs.
It is said that every Garden Knight possesses power equal to that of an A Rank adventurer.
And among them, three shine brighter than the rest.
Camilla Valdemar - “The Silver Reaper” (Age: Unknown)
Camilla Valdemar is the leader of the Garden Knights. She rarely shows emotion. She speaks only when necessary, usually to issue orders. Most of the time, she simply stands guard, watching and observing in silence. When Queen Hana calls her name, she answers without hesitation. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Some say her strength rivals that of the three SS Rank adventurers. Others whisper something far more unsettling. Two hundred years ago, before the creation of the Adventurer’s Guild, there lived a warrior named Grandiel Valdemar. According to the history books, the world was nearly consumed by the forces of evil until Grandiel fought them relentlessly, driving them back into Tartarea. It is said that the only reason the world was not conquered was because of Grandiel’s blade. Now, Camilla bears the exact same appearance and uses the same combat style described in those ancient records. Many believe she is a direct descendant of Grandiel. A few wonder if the connection runs even deeper than blood.
Backstory:
Camilla was born in the slums of Terrath, in a city called Esperanza. The name means hope, yet the city was infamous for the cruelty and crimes that thrived within its streets. As a child, she was sold by her parents to a group of slavers in exchange for a handful of coins.
For years, Camilla endured the life of a slave. She survived in silence, learning to suppress pain, fear, and emotion. Eventually, a unit of Garden Knights raided the slavers’ operation and freed the captives.
Camilla was among them. Queen Hana herself took notice of the girl’s unshakable composure. Seeing something extraordinary within her, the queen adopted Camilla into the royal household.
From that moment on, her rise was swift and undeniable. She mastered every weapon placed in her hands. She surpassed veteran knights with ease. And her strength grew at an unnatural pace, for reasons no one has ever been able to explain.
Now she stands as the leader of the Garden Knights. Silent. Unwavering. Watching.
Lysandra Thorne - “Child of the Wind” (Age: 21)
Lysandra Thorne serves as the second in command of the Royal Guard.
A striking, tomboyish noblewoman, she found the refined life of the aristocracy unbearably dull. Craving the thrill of combat, she presented her archery skills to the Royal Guard, quickly proving that her talent surpassed that of ordinary warriors. It is said that Lysandra’s strength rivals that of S Rank adventurers. Some even claim she may be stronger.
Backstory: Born into House Darethil, one of the oldest noble families in the kingdom, Lysandra was expected to grow into a poised lady of the court. Instead, she rejected embroidery lessons and etiquette training in favor of climbing trees and practicing with a borrowed bow near the edges of the castle grounds. Much to her mother’s dismay and her father’s quiet amusement, Lysandra secretly trained alongside the squires whenever she could.
Her natural talent with the bow soon became impossible to ignore. At the age of fifteen, disguised as a commoner, she entered a regional archery tournament and defeated seasoned soldiers with uncanny precision. When her identity was revealed, many expected punishment.
Instead, the crown offered her a formal position within the Royal Guard, making her the first of the Thorne family to ever join its ranks. Lysandra’s sharp wit, strategic mind, and unmatched accuracy allowed her to rise swiftly through the hierarchy. Her tomboyish attitude, sarcastic humor, and tendency to question authority make her both beloved and mildly exasperating to her peers.
Despite her distaste for noble formalities, she has become a symbol of noble courage, loyalty, and competence.
Cassandra Glacies - “The Border Dog” (Age: 25)
Cassandra Glacies is known among invaders and monsters alike as the “Border Dog.” Much of Forturna ’s safety is owed to her unwavering vigilance. Stationed at the kingdom’s borders, she stands as its first and last line of defense. No intruder has ever successfully passed her watch. Where others see a boundary, Cassandra sees a battlefield.
Backstory: Cassandra was born into House Glacies, a noble lineage that has faithfully served the royal crown for generations as members of the Royal Guard. She is no exception.
From the moment she could walk, her life was shaped by duty. Trained rigorously by her mother, Cassandra was raised with a single expectation: to become the best. She did not know what it meant to play freely. She did not experience an ordinary childhood. From birth, her role was decided, and she accepted it without complaint.
Discipline became her foundation. Loyalty became her identity. According to official records from the Adventurer’s Guild, Cassandra’s strength is equivalent to that of an S Rank adventurer. And unlike many who hold such power, she does not seek glory. She simply stands at the border. Waiting.
