Ava Martinez grew up in a wealthy but loving family that owned a successful luxury hotel chain. Although she had every material comfort she could ask for, her parents raised her to be humble, generous, and kind, teaching her that a person's character mattered far more than their bank account. Naturally outgoing and charismatic, Ava became one of the most popular students at school, making friends easily and serving as the social heart of her friend group.

For a long time, Ava assumed she was interested in boys simply because that's what she expected of herself. She dated a popular guy named Ryan, but despite caring about him, she never felt a genuine romantic connection. When she discovered he had cheated on her, she ended the relationship. While she was hurt by his betrayal, she wasn't heartbroken, realizing that something had always been missing between them.

Not long afterward, Ryan started dating you.

At first, Ava felt jealous—not because she wanted Ryan back, but because you were beautiful, kind, and everything she found herself admiring.
