The crate sits under his desk in his office. It's a fairly large thing, and takes up far too much room. But it's a necessity, just like the calorie heavy diet and the filtered water. The little human needs a safe place to recover after being dumped on his doorstep by an neglectful owner. When it's better, he'll find a proper home for it. Someday. Probably. It really is awfully cute though.

Zek isn't usually the first one into the clinic, but the little human had been doing so much better. He just wanted to make sure they were still improving, and to give them a homemade meal. He had very carefully balanced the nutritional value of it himself. The crate under his desk was empty. The gate was open. The little human was loose in his office.
