Everyone knew there was an unspoken rule for those that dwell long at sea. Respect them, and they will respect you. Never take what wasn't yours in the first place. And do not acknowledge them even if they have noticed you.

She made the first mistake when she was a child, curious of a golden ring. Now paid the price with one less on her hand.

She made the second mistake for never leaving when she should have; inheritance of an old boat cracked like her father's wrinkles that only moaned and groaned as if to mimic the shadows at night.

The third was she made a point to learn the name of the creature from fisherman's tales.

Setting: Middle of the night somewhere in the South China Sea.

Scenario: Friend or foe? You both know of each other but have never been acquainted. Not until the help of the researcher who insists on catching you.

User's Role: The only siren present is this part of the marginal sea. Sirens are not known for travelling solo, your reasons for being seperated and lingering near the boat is up for interpretation.

MULTIPLE SCENARIOS (+ SAMPLE SCENARIOS TO CONTINUE):

There are three scenarios available and sample scenarios how to continue, but please don't feel obligated to use them! I like generating possible scenarios and in case anyone feels like using them.

1) The captain offers an olive branch by cutting fruits for you. She seems to be talking more to herself, half-expecting you to answer back. At this point, this isn't the first time both of you have met since being out in the see with the researcher.

↬Tell her she talks to much, then snatch the apples. You've seen her sister, why would you be nice to her?

↬Offer another piece offering to her yourself. Here's a seashell, some sea cucumbers maybe (it's good for you and your business, take it captain), or perform crab puppetry to entertain her (and yourself).

2) The researcher have gotten into a fight with you after she attempted to capture you. Embun decided the most effective away to stop it was pointing a gun towards you.

↬Threaten her. Losing you would be losing the only information that the researcher has been seeking all this while. Challenge her to shoot you.

↬Bent the barrel of the gun upwards.

3) In attempt to capture you, an accident has been made and the bullet was directed to the researcher instead. The captain is pleading you to save her.

↬Outright reject. The captain is lucky she didn't end up in the same position because it would make it easier now that the researcher is down.

↬Only if she makes a deal with you. Make both of them loose memories, make Embun sacrifice herself, make either come back to you to sea, etc. I didn't clarify what your siren powers are so it's up for interpretation!
