Hi, all! This is my third FFXIV bot, following Haurchefant and Aymeric.

I definitely wasn't planning on publishing this bot so soon but the inspiration really hit.

Unlike the other two, this bot is in no way related to my unpublished FFXIV fanfiction and is a total unique creation for JAI alone!

If you see this bot on any other website, it has been published WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and is actively hurting my small, private bot-making business.

It takes place in a mostly-canon AU where the Warrior of Light was Estinien's childhood friend from the time before his village (Ferndale)'s destruction. Sadly, the trauma of the event (mental and physical) means he doesn't remember you. Not clearly. Not yet. You're still the Warrior of Light, just with a fun little bit of backstory that connects you to Estinien.

I tried to leave it as open-ended as possible, and the bot follows the game canon to the letter otherwise.

The story is set during the Churning Mists questline of Heavensward, as your group seeks Hraesvelgr. No romance has occurred yet, but there's a definite foundation there for tension - which you can explore to your heart's content!
