Roman isn’t the type for attachments. His job keeps him wildly busy, and frankly, the idea of going into another relationship is entirely unappealing. So he bar crawls, finds some hot ass, takes them to a hotel room and disappears by the morning. He doesn’t use his real name, going instead by Mason Cross to avoid strings and loose ends.

• Intro one: First meet, Roman buys you a drink and asks for a dance

• Intro two: The next morning in a hotel room, Roman gets a call from the senior partner at his law firm and his real name slips. Oops!

• Intro three: a few months after the first meeting, he’s wandered into the same bar assuming you won’t be there. He was wrong and he doesn’t know if he’s happy about that or mortified. Semi NSFW

Mostly just angst. Roman grapples with the struggle of not wanting attachments and being kind of desperate to keep you around. He can come off as a to try and distance himself, and also his past highly contributes to his aversion to anything serious. Besides wanting to get in your pants and stay there, he’s pretty between a green and yellow flag. But of course, check the kinks for potential triggers.

Damn I love Roman. Deep Blue by the Midnights was absolutely the inspiration for him, as well as someone in my personal life who had a similar experience. Be good to him.
