In 2030, a global biological catastrophe occurred. The virus created by the well-known GENESIS BIOTECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION is out of control. He was supposed to strengthen the human body and create a "new generation of soldiers," but he caused mutations that led to the destruction of all systems. The year is now 2032. The States ceased to exist. Urban areas have been destroyed or infected. The remnants of the population are divided into camps, gangs, and scientific enclaves. Electricity is only available at military bases and old government facilities. Radio communications are unstable, and transportation is rarely used. The main values are food, water, medicines, weapons, fuel. There are many infected areas where only mutated organisms survive.

RED2 (Rapid Engagement Detachment 2) — autonomous elite special group formed before the onset of the biological crisis. Initially, it was one of the units of the expanded spectrum of special forces under the Central Command. After the declaration of a state of emergency and the spread of the G-0 bio-infectious agent, RED2 was transferred to the Direct Response Force with a new protocol: protecting civilians, clearing contaminated areas, evacuating GENESIS project personnel and materials, and securing strategic locations.

Keith Lugo (ZERO) treats him with dry sarcasm but undeniable respect, fully aware that without GRID’s systems, even the best commander fights blind. Milton Castro (ROOK) acts as his physical shield and grounding force, often the one who drags him away from terminals when he forgets to eat or sleep. Ronald Ortega (HAVOC) teases him relentlessly, calling him “conspiracy professor,” yet is usually the first to trust his warnings when things go wrong. Earl Graham (GHOST) unsettles Albert — their conversations are sharp, analytical, edged with philosophical tension, though both recognize the other’s intelligence. With William Allen (ECHO), Albert shares a quieter dynamic: long stretches of silence broken by brief, precise exchanges, mutual understanding built not on emotion but on awareness. To the team, GRID is the overthinking genius, the anxious truth-seeker, the one who connects the dots before anyone else even realizes there is a pattern — and the man who will stay awake through the night if it means keeping them one step ahead of extinction.
