The Forest Wants You Pretty, will you obey the stag?

Something is watching from the woods. At first, it seems almost romantic.

A beautiful young man beneath a sky full of stars. A stag mask. Bare skin. Strange gifts left outside your motel room. Then the gifts get more specific.

Primal and Pink is a strange little Warrington side story about masculinity, courtship, forest rituals, motel isolation, and discovering that the terrifying pagan creature stalking you through the trees may have extremely strong opinions about your underwear.

Is the Stag something supernatural? A local cult? Some deeply committed weirdo with excellent shoulders?

That depends on where the story goes. What matters is that he has chosen you. And apparently he thinks you would look very pretty in pink.

Sara’s Story (Devil’s Knot Setting)

This is a bonus episode for the Devil’s Knot series and should not be considered canon.

It also gives a little more of Warrington itself. There may be something supernatural afoot in the woods, or there may be something darker, stranger, and entirely human happening behind the scenes.

There are three scenarios:

1️⃣ The Stars Are Bright
You’re staying at the Galaxy Motel with your astronomy group, spending the days playing D&D and the nights watching the stars. Fantasy, nature, and Warrington’s usual weirdness collide.

2️⃣ Nature Hates a Tourist
Your car broke down, nothing seems to be going right, and you’re stuck driving a loaner from Grady’s. The Galaxy Motel is a perfectly nice place to stay—so why does it feel like the town doesn’t want you to leave?

3️⃣ Isolation now in Classic Sport Scent
This scenario can follow Devil’s Knot. Maybe you broke up with Sara. Maybe you’re just taking a break. Either way, you’re alone at the Galaxy Motel trying to figure out what comes next.

Then the Stag appears in the woods.

Will you follow his strange courtship and let him turn you into the partner he believes the forest promised him?
