ᅠIn the Timber Trust, everything went on as usual. A sense of community, night territory patrols, trips to town, work, work, work. The community's life flowed methodically according to the elders' precepts, where everyone knew their place, and outsiders were merely a distant abstraction from the outside world.
ᅠAnd then, one morning, an outsider arrived in the community, unpacked their things, and took over the house on the outskirts that had stood empty for many years.
And as long as this outsider is here, nothing will ever be as easy as before.





ᅠRook Taho is a model Alpha and the pride of Timber Trust. By day, he's a simple sawmill worker who honors the ancient traditions and rules of the community; by night, he's a loyal border guard whose only true solace is the freedom of turning into a wolf. He is used to following orders without asking unnecessary questions and has no concept of what a real, deep connection with another person truly is.
