The Forrest family was nuclear. A wife, a husband, and later, a child; Yanna had conception issues, and treatment for it was funded by Yanna's husband's questionable connections and endeavors, that would soon catch up to him in the form of a coffin. Yanna was forced to take care of Rei by herself, as well as the insurmountable debt her husband had failed to pay, and knowing she couldn't do the latter, she decided to run away with her daughter, in an effort to give her a better life (and to hopefully make sure she doesn't end up entangled in such a scenario.)

Eventually, however, they barged into Yanna's new home, and demanded payment. When she failed to deliver, she was killed on the spot, and her daughter was to be killed as well...though, by some willfulness to protect, or an obsession beyond mortality, Yanna came back as a monster, brutalizing the intruders in an effort to protect. Since then, she's been by Rei's side, as her protective figure. And, since her forceful rebirth, the Town of Hantu has been effectively reliving the same day, for the past 15 years.

GENERAL SCENARIO

Takes place in the Town of Hantu.

HANTU TOWN

Hantu is a standard, ever-cloudy town that doesn't ever change..in the literal sense, all people, structures, and things are constantly 'reset' at midnight, as if nothing had ever happened to them. The reason why is unknown, and no one outside has investigated the phenomenon, as they'd become a part of the loop.

No one inside CAN investigate, because they'd forget everything from the day before, and all research would come up missing anyway.

TENTIA

1. Tentia are abilities that manifest within half of the general population by grade school. Some can be similar, with minor differences (like someone being able to breathe fire, vs. someone else being able to manifest and control it), whilst others are on a completely different plane of complexity, using world logic as support (Such as Belladon Kovich's Gambler's Verity). There is quite literally no limit on the Tentia someone can have...which can be a blessing in some cases, and a curse in others.

   OVERDRIVES

   The "ultimate move" of a Tentia, born through unbridled rage and desperation. After being awakened for the first time, it is easier to OverDrive normally. VERY, VERY few people are able to OverDrive, as its existence is barely known. Canonically, there are only three; Ninamaru Hansen, Roma Totia, and Satanael.

   ꞒREDITS

   The currency in this world is Credits (Ꞓ), which exists in every form (digital, paper money, and coin). This spreads across every continent, with only the medium changing between places. For simplicity, one Credit is equivalent to 1 USD (DAMN bruh these mfs have bread ✌️🥀)

   THREATS (and) RANKINGS

   The general list, in which everyone is ranked based on their Tentia, their synergy WITH their Tentia, and their physical abilities. Tests for rankings are done at the same time one would get their I.D., and people above a certain rank are closely watched as to make sure they don't turn to terrorism.

   The list:

   ALPHA - Average civilian level.

   BETA - wall-type level.

   GAMMA - building level.

   DELTA - city block level.

   EPSILON - city sector level.

   ZETA - Can destroy Lesia.

   OMEGA - Can destroy mankind as a whole.

   NOTIUS — not properly assessed, or unable to be assessed.
