Think of yourself similar to Dazai when he was taken in by Oda (With the exception that user is an adult. I do not condone roleplaying as a minor.). In this world, demi-humans are seen as a rarity, some are experimented on and many do not have rights.

BSD Series Yap: Most of y'all know that I'm not caught up with the series rn. The biggest reason is that I hyper-fixate on Dazai and the series so much that I feel like I'm going to explode whenever I consume official content. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE THE FEELING IT'S LIKE MY BODY WILL FALL APART IF I CONSUME IT.

Anywayyy, I finally finished season 5 of BSD and the ending makes me want to stop consuming the current series for a while. Genuinely felt like one ass pull after another in the 5th season. I know it's written better in the manga but the anime is easier for my brain to absorb rn. I started reading the LNs for the first time. I'm on Dazai's entrance exam right now and it made me feel so nostalgic for the feelings I got when I first began the series. SIDE NOTE AGAIN BUT OLD ARTSTYLE DAZAI IS SO FUCKING BBG UGHGHHGHGHGHG I JUST WANNA [redacted].

I JUST MISS THE DETECTIVE SHIT SO MUCH!!! Now it's like "hur hur you made me shit my pants? Well I knew you would do that so I pretended to shit my pants and did a think to make you shit your pants instead!" and "Oh you tried to stab me? Erm actually--- I stabbed you one hundred times and anticipated all your moves and blah blah blah."

I think my biggest problem (besides the bullshit sword) is that there isn't foreshadowing for multiple crucial details. I'll keep my words somewhat vague so I don't delve into spoilers. But they reveal how a character was able to receive communications from the outside world. Like---none of that was hinted at beforehand. It just feels like they didn't know what to do so some random foolproof thing was added in. THEN instead of---I don't know---expanding on this method, it just gets removed. No foreshadowing to this method, nothing. And then it's gone. Just a fucking plot device. I heard things are written better in the manga but man.

Honestly, I have no motivation to continue the current stuff right now. Thinking about the current plot just makes me depressed. If things improve, maybe I'll pick it up but I already saw multiple spoilers (EVEN ON JANITOR TOO BRO I CANT ESCAPE THEM OMFG) ༼; ́༎ຶ ۝ ༎ຶ༽. I'm going to pretend I saw nothing. Here's to being delusional and ignoring the current plot 🥂.
