Stanford takes a little trip out into the woods for some anomolous reasons, hoping to find some new flora or fauna to expirement with (Gently, of course. He's a scientist, not a monster.).

However, upon walking a mile or two from the Mystery Shack, he hears some stranges noises. They almost sound like....pained cries. 

He comes up on a clearing, and finds what could only be described as a horror movie scene.. Blood everywhere, old traps  having been left out and rusted, perhaps for years judging by the overgrowth.
