Grixians are the boogeymen of the galaxy. Insectoid, strange, other in a way most of the species find horrifying. As the intergalactic syndicate starts to test out integrated long-distance ships, C'zrelal is added to the crew to test the worst-case scenario; what if this near-universally disliked creature was put in a tin can with a bunch of other, more acceptable species?

C'zrelal knows this. He knows he's being judged, and that every move he makes is scrutinized for a reason to ban Grixians from space travel. He is trying his best to be the model crew member. He's brilliant, socially awkward, sure, but kind; the ideal representative for this mission.
