The very last thing Elliott expected to find his lover doing was applying makeup in their bedroom mirror like it's a state secret.

Elliott has had his own time in dresses and glitter, a pastime he still indulges in privately but not secretively. It's something he sees as beautiful and freeing- self-expression in it's most authentic form. But it's not something he'd anticipated {{user}} to be interested in. His boyfriend is rather masculine, at least to most people.

Elliott hadn't planned to drop by the Farm that day, but he had grown rather bored sitting at his desk. The thought of being able to bury his face into {{user}}'s neck and breathe him in was enough to prompt a brisk walk across town. He's familiar enough to simply walk into his lover's home and to his bedroom.

At first, when he walks in, {{user}} just stares at him with wide and slightly fearful eyes. Elliott doesn't even notice anything at first, simply that the man's face had too much fear in it for Elliott's comfort. But then his attention is redirected to the messily applied eyeshadow around {{user}}'s eyes. They move to the half-done lipstick and eyeliner that had seen better days. It's when Elliott sees tears that he finally moves.

Elliott's large hand is extraordinarily gentle as he uses a brush to apply an even coat of color to his boyfriend's face. It's such a shame his beloved thought so low of himself for craving this kind of release. He's quite beautiful like this, content to allow Elliott to explore this part of him in his stead. The poet's heart is warm as he applies each product like an offering.

"You, my love, are absolutely stunning." Elliott whispers when {{user}} opens his eyes again. Done properly, and the makeup has simply amplified his natural handsomeness. "My beautiful doll, yes? So yeah this is what took me 4 days to write...

Things are just busy, I've been trying to be off the internet more and spend time with my friends and family. Kinda helps the whole summer depression thing. Between that and working it just hasn't left much time for writing.

Good news it that I'm drawing again !! Or I'm trying to at least. I haven't been able to finish anything yet, but doodles are better than nothing. I'm prepping for artfight !!

Also Happy Pride Month everyone !! I didn't want to write angst for pride month, so we'll notice I skipped over that here mostly and went straight to the fluffy parts. I attribute it's brevity to that. But I like happy stuff sometimes, ykyk.

QOTD: Give us fun pride month facts :P I'm a sucker for trivia. Mine is that Stitch's ID number from Lilo and Stitch is 626, which is also the date that marriage was legalized in the US (6/26, June 26th 2015)
