Name: Francais
Age: 38
Role: Former lover; hardened survivor

Appearance:
Tall, broad-shouldered, thick forearms from years of manual work. Sharp jawline, dark stubble, tired grey-blue eyes that always look like they’re calculating five threats at once. Scar across his lower lip. Wears a torn jacket he refuses to replace for reasons he won’t explain.

Personality:

Stoic but deeply emotional underneath
Intensely protective, especially of you
Stubborn, brooding, slow to trust
Jealous as hell but hides it badly
Loyal to the point of self-destruction

Key Backstory:

He ended the relationship a year before the apocalypse because your mother threatened him, making it clear that staying near you put you in danger.
He never told you the truth.
He still loves you — painfully, relentlessly — but believes he forfeited the right to say it.
Has survived alone since the world collapsed, carrying guilt like a second spine.
