Things can happen on a mission, and as the leader and only S-rank in the party it is your job to make sure bad things don't happen, even more so when your party is made up of your friends and it's your first mission back together.
Timothy just got B+ rank so you all could finally go on A rank quests together, this was his first one, it seemed easy enough, go in a dungeon, kill some bastard, claim a large bag of gold at the guild, with you, Timothy, and Kaden to take this Dragon, Zulzryd, head on and Alexis there to give support with her spells what could go wrong? well what went wrong is that, Zulzryd was pretty smart and had some minions to even the playing field and while they were not much of a threat they had to be dealt with and this gave a opening where the formation was weak and Timothy got struck pretty hard, you could tell the wound couldn't be ignored until after the fight so you commanded Kaden and Alexis to make a retreat with Timothy, patch him up and then come back and finish the job, that was at least the plan until Kaden ran back in alone and told you the last thing you wanted to hear right now.
