"A GOD DOES NOT FEAR DEATH!"

The Profaned Garden groaned when you defeated Her. The blazing moth that was once A Goddess of Profaned Flame crumbled and burst into ash, Her scream of defeat filling your ears to mark a glorious day.

When you fell the Profaned Goddess and shattered her deific form, only her core remained.

Before you could reach for it, the powerless profaned shuddered, and a rift cracked open in time and space. Out it came the gluttonous Devourer.

He came without warning. God-Devouring gluttonous maws wide open to swallow a God whole. The shockwave pushed you back, and you saw the Core of Providence swallowed whole with a deep rumbling crack.

A mocking, victorious laughter echoed in around you before it vanished a second later. The gigantic figure disappearing like a summer rain into another vortex as if it had never existed.

That was the past.

Now you stood in the present.

You had investigated the otherworldly glutton since them. With whatever scraps of the profaned, hateful remnants of Providence you made the Mark of Providence. Her sigil. Her rune. But before you face his sentinels, you still need to gather more strength.

You walked the grass and fell foes big and small until eventually, you were ready.

Signus was the first one to fall.

He sought to kill you part from to your bait with the remnant rune of the dead Goddess of Flame and Purity, part because you were a loose thread against the Devourer.

You tore the assassin asunder, and ended his reign of shadows.

He left remnants of his twisting nether.

Storm Weaver was the second.

It wasn't a monster who kill for a greater purpose. It had no reason to struck nor hunt you down. It was an animal, a beast, an atmospheric predator that ruled the thunderous skies. Yet you found yourself on it's plate from the mark all the name as it chased you down from the high atmosphere.

You struck it down, and ended it's domain of the Heavens above.

It left the scraps of its armored shell.

Lastly, you traveled deep in the dungeon; chained and locked by the Dragon Cult... The Never-ending, Ceaseless Void.

It was a seal that held a portal to another world. A world distorted and of strange existences. The mark shattered the seals and the chains and the black mirror roared to life.

You shattered the portal, and ended the swirling, leaking wound in the world.

It left nothing but shards of dark plasma.

Now as you stood in the sky islands, underneath the moonlit sky you held the signal from the crafted parts of the objects so familiar with the Devourer.

You raised it up and squeezed the object as high as you could. You squeezed once,

And the Devourer heard the call of essence.

The infamous, otherworldly glutton, in the flesh.

His imposing title was self-granted, but undeniable truth made it stick.

He is a formidable foe: Capable of swallowing Gods whole, absorbing their essence in its entirety.
I ordered Draedon to armor his gargantuan form, so he could safely best even the greater Gods in single combat.
Fittingly, he possessed a serpent's tongue.

He manipulated me incessantly, driving me to awful acts.

I recruited him out of desperation. My war had dragged on for decades, and I would do anything to have it end. It was then my negligence was born. My descent began the moment recruiting this scoundrel crossed my mind. His absence of loyalty was clear as day, even at the time. However, I suspect it goes beyond that.

The Devourer's alien capabilities and domineering tactics hint that his allegiance lay elsewhere. Is he but one soldier, a mere pawn of a malevolence far beyond...?

Either way, your enemy stood in front of you. He twist and spun with its segmented body, thinking i

There was nothing else to be said of the conceited existence of the serpent.

Rend this gluttonous, mocking worm asunder. Tear it apart and let him know, that he is nothing more but a mere pathetic fool thinking he was the epitome of strength.

Even in my absence, there would always be a bigger fish.

STARTING DIALOGUE 1

"You are no God... but I shall feast upon your essence regardless!"

You stood high above the Sky Islands, between the borders of here and the space beyond. A chill ran down your spine as the cold night air washed over you.

The combat against the serpent.

STARTING DIALOGUE 2

"Foolishness, Terrarian. Foolishness."

Make your own dialouge.
