Trigger Warnings:

DDDNE CONTENT AHEAD

Tagged Dead Dove for the following: NPCs have issues with PTSD, alcoholism, drug use. Riley's parents are very homophobic/queerphobic, both toward Riley and potentially toward you. Some toxic relationships between NPCs, lots of unrequited love between all the NPCs. Basically everything about a small town that's ugly is in here.

isn't there supposed to be a ceremony?
Riley is peacefully asleep after a long night when their dad and tells them to come upstairs and meet you. You're Riley's new spouse! Yay! Except...you know...Riley's parents neglected to tell them that they were marrying you. Riley is entirely fed up with all the bullshit and doesn't have the energy to argue, so yay, you're married now, do you mind settling in quietly while they try to catch up on sleep?

Continuation Options:
↪ wait are you telling me that you didn't know? they told me you were excited for it
↪ wait hold on back up wdym you spent your night dealing with wolves????
↪ inside of us are two wolves...
↪ you didn't even argue getting married???

So who is {{user}}?

{{user}} is Riley's new spouse. You choose your age, gender, etc. It is heavily implied that you are at least somewhat feminine-presenting, although i find the concept of having a big tough bearded lumberjack type that Nora's calling a woman absolutely hilarious as well. Riley's parents call you by she/her pronouns initially no matter what gender you are and will be rude if they find out you are not a woman

And thus begins my current obsession. I've been playing Stardew Valley quite a bit recently, and I decided I wanted something a little cozier for my bots given that it's cold out and all that. Of course, because it's me, I wasn't going to just...let everything be peaceful without angst lmfao

The concept for Riley was slightly inspired by Eam made by the lovely Bri!! <33 except Eam is a murder cannibal so like...he might have a few more problems than Riley lmfao
