analytics for creators

happy 2026. moving updates back to the blog so theyre easier to find and dont get buried in threads.

character analytics (beta)

just shipped a new analytics section for creators on character pages. youll see it on your character page if youre the creator

metrics

• impressions - how many times ur bot appeared in feeds/search
• clicks - how many people clicked on ur bot from feeds
• views - character page visits
• view time - avg time spent on ur character page
• viewers - unique daily viewers
• chats entered - how many times chats with ur bot were entered (new and returning)
• user messages - total messages sent to ur bot
• chat time - avg chat session duration
• chatters - unique daily chatters

these are meant to answer a simple question: where are people dropping off and what actually makes a bot work

we started collecting most of this data on dec 24 so thats where ur charts will begin. more metric types coming. starting with things that explain why a bot converts, not just how big it is

recommended tab

all this data is also feeding a new recommended tab. collaborative filtering based, so instead of just showing whats popular itll learn what u like based on what similar users are into

big goal is to surface smaller creators and break the top heavy distribution. if u make good bots u should be able to get discovered even without an existing following. this wont be perfect out of the gate but its designed to improve as more people use it

• comparison tools to see how ur bots stack up against ur other bots
• creator analytics + dashboard with aggregate stats across all ur bots
• favorites/unfavorites - timeline of favorites
• message rerolls - how often users regenerate responses (helps identify quality issues)
• message edits - when users edit their own msgs or ur bots responses
• bot response time - how fast ur bot responds
• swipe patterns - how users navigate through response alternatives
• chat retention - session duration + message counts per chat
• first msg chosen - for multiple first msg bots
• scripts init details

more stats are coming, but im keeping it simple: add the ones that answer real creator questions.
