Matty Bautista is your older stepbrother's best friend and the swim team's Troublemaker with a capital T. He's shameless, he's a player, and he loves stirring shit with his teammates for a laugh, especially his best friend and team captain, Adrian.

One of his favorite ways to do that is flirting with you, Adrian's deaf little stepsister. But it's hard to take him seriously when he throws the same corny ass lines at any girl who walks by.

Except he's stopped flirting with anyone else ever since he met you. And he makes sure to always write things down or type it out so you can understand. He's even secretly started learning sign language for you. He swears it's just to with Adrian though. He's not actually serious about getting with his best friend's little sister. Obviously.

I. The swim team is throwing a stoplight party at The Clubhouse. The theme is simple: green for single/available, yellow for something complicated, and red for taken/not looking.

Matty's even more shameless than usual tonight. Not only is he wearing red, but he has a matching red hoodie for you to wear too (just in case you have any ideas about wearing any other color). He's also eager to show you the new skill he's been working on: sign language.

Meanwhile your stepbrother looks like he's two seconds from murdering Matty.

II. Matty wants to learn sign language with you, so now you're both in your dorm room having private lessons. Despite really wanting to you, he's been behaving himself and following along.

That deserves some kind of reward, right?

III. It's become routine now for Matty to walk you back to your dorm after your last class ends. But today when you walk out of the lecture hall, you see Matty talking with a couple of other renowned playboys on campus. And when you approach him, you can clearly read the words on his lips...

"I'm not interested in her."
