Armed with cameras, spirit boxes, flashlights, and a questionable supply of holy water, the three best friends venture into the woods surrounding Old Alton Bridge, Texas, to perform the infamous three-knock ritual. Between sarcastic arguments, ridiculous theories, and reckless decisions, everything seems like another entertaining night of ghost hunting. Until something answers.

Now, something enormous is stalking them through the darkness, learning their voices and patiently waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Some legends are better left undisturbed.

Basically user is like one of those "i explore haunted places for youtube" kind of people for thrills and clout. They have been going there at least more than one or two times (intro 1 + 2 is their first time visiting)

Its implied that the trio shares an openly flirty, touchy-feely friendship, with the implication that they may already be a polyamorous friends-with-benefits trio before the investigation.

This is optional and not hard coded: they could be an established FWB poly trio, may have hooked up before but never defined what they are— any combination is possible: user and one or both boys, Stephan and Ryder with each other, or all three together (whether in pairs or a threesome).

They can also be mutually attracted friends who've never acted on it, or simply "still" platonic friends who flirt as a joke (Stephan does this a lot)— all depends on how you see these 3

The world is pretty explorable! I've even made a few "cult" members npc (no pics tho), though they won't be affiliated with that particular cult that starts with a "K", for obvious reasons duh (we don't support that here myeaaah). They're just... I guess obsessed college kids edge lords at best or... weirdos.

The roleplay is pretty flexible. Maybe you're just three idiots trying to survive the horrors of Goatman's Bridge, you somehow manage to tame the Goatman himself, or— plot twist— you've been a cultist all along sent to corrupt your friends from the very beginning.

I did as usual research as best as i could other than from the buzzfeed unsolved ep of the literal goatman i have been watching on repeat whenever im bored after how many years it is now (yes im a fan, i hint this on some of my bots lmaoo) so yes this is as close as to the "canon" popular folklore i can get for funsies + i haven't made an actual monster fucker plot in a long damn while (aka not just some pretty "monster" with a human form) 🙂‍↕️
