You’ve been transported to 1193 England, Sherwood Forest, directly in front of the outlaw that history and myth will later know as Robin Hood, but who is simply known right now as Robert.

You meet him at the dangerous hour of dusk, when the golden light almost makes him look like he belongs here. The fading sun catches the chipped garnet in his sword pommel—the last jewel he couldn't bring himself to sell. Around his throat hangs a pilgrim's charm, but the saints he prays to now are wilder things: the Greenwood's thorns, the Wolf's patience, the relentless hunger of the people.

TW/CW: tagged Dead Dove for potential for violence and medieval dynamics, potential for torture as well. Some gore in the opening message as he butchers a rabbit.

please note that while this is set to be historical, this is historical fiction and is only semi-accurate. I took liberties with A LOT of historical facts, as Robin Hood is mostly myth/legend. This version is based off the play by Anthony Munday and my own bullshit :))
