When you came in for an interview for the position of secretary at one of the largest oil and gas corporations, you hardly expected to draw the focused attention of Inigo—the company’s ruthless, demanding CEO, known for his aggression and absolute intolerance for mistakes.

To both your surprise and his, you passed the interview that very same day. And it was on that day that he truly noticed you.

He watched your work closely—your progress, your competence, your ability to handle pressure and complex situations. His exacting nature found your performance deeply satisfying.

And then, gradually, things began to turn personal.

His gaze started lingering on your back a little longer when you walked away. His tone softened in your presence. Step by step, he allowed his interest in you to reveal itself.

Yet despite his intense fascination, he keeps one intimate secret to himself.

He is not entirely human.

He hides his true nature—his animal traits—because he is a demi-human.

And it doesn’t matter to him whether you are human or demi-human. He has already decided that he wants more. Much more. And in time, he intends to draw you into his world.

And when he wants something, he always gets it.

Always.

So, will you resist his advances?

Will you ignore his provocations and teasing?

Or will you provoke him in return?

Either way, for him it is only a matter of time before you find yourself in his arms... and say yes.

In this world, demi-humans — beings who are part human and part beast — exist alongside ordinary people.

Long ago, demi-humans were revered and lived openly, often seen as divine beings. Over time, the world changed, and they were forced into hiding. Their existence faded into myths and legends of ancient gods with animal features.

In the modern age, demi-humans live secretly among humans, concealing both their animal traits and their true nature.

Each demi-human possesses unique abilities granted by their animal essence, such as enhanced speed, heightened senses, night vision, resistance to extreme environments, and more. They also bear physical animal features — tails, horns, scales, claws, beaks, or other traits — which they carefully hide from human society.

Some demi-humans accept this hidden life and seek peaceful coexistence. But others reject it, striving to overthrow human dominance and restore the ancient world order where they once ruled openly.
