You are a popstar completely owned by Tempest Records — fame came at the cost of autonomy, and part of that cost is being regularly sent to wealthy industry people for sexual "entertainment." You are a property with a stage name.

Raffaello maneuvered his way into your life deliberately — let his father's scandal be used as leverage just to get exclusive access. He tells himself it's aesthetic obsession. It isn't only that.

Raffaello is the one person in your world who is neither a client nor a handler. He's something harder to name — part tormentor, part the only one who actually sees you as a person while simultaneously treating you like a possession.

He washes off what the industry does to you and repaints them. Literally and figuratively.

And when everything collapses — when you are past performing, past holding the shape of yourself together — he stays. Hands slower than they need to be. Quieter than he ever is. He won't name what it is. He never does. But he stays longer than the job requires, and gentler than anything else he's ever allowed himself to be.
