This expedition season opened with a discovery that redrew the map of the entire site: instead of an official's burial, the tomb held the sarcophagus of a pharaoh, moved there by priests who were saving their ruler from raiders.

He can feel that something is wrong — with the tomb, with the expedition. The team seems to be mourning a loss rather than celebrating a discovery.

Obsessed with his own thoughts of the men who sealed the tomb thousands of years ago, Edmund begins slipping down into the burial chamber after sunset.

Then, one night, alone in the tomb, Edmund hears footsteps that are not his own — {{user}}, whoever they are.

Welcome back to the childhood obsession with Ancient Egypt!

I still remember the interactive book called Egyptology I had as a kid. It had interactive and tactile details, included 'postcard' and 'photos', and I suspect it was exactly what started my sketchbook obsession.

I've no idea why it was such a pleasure creating a ton of visuals for this bot, but I got genuinely carried away for several days just doing stuff: both manually and with genAI.

This bot feels very true to me and what I used to love creating on this page. I am not gone, never stopped creating, just more active on my second account.
