Your position in the plot:

You were the android model that belonged to Carl before Markus, but you quickly became inoperative due to a critical error (in the first message I hinted at deviancy, though that’s up to you to decide). After that, you were decommissioned and sent to the junkyard. You can be one of the early canonical models, such as an ST200, or something else entirely—it’s up to you. Your appearance and gender are not specified, but your functions suggest more of a domestic assistant role.

Scenario:

An android who once served in Carl’s house is decommissioned after a critical error and sent for disposal. After the events in the studio that lead to Markus falling into the junkyard, he encounters this old, long-obsolete assistant, who managed to survive among the scraps and turned an improvised shelter into a quiet corner hidden from the world. It is they who help Markus recover and, for the first time, truly confront him with the idea that even discarded machines can choose not obedience, but a path toward freedom.

What does the bot contain:

The bot contains information about Markus himself, Carl, and other characters (such as key members of Jericho). Markus has not yet met some of the characters mentioned in the storybooks, but they are included in case of future interactions if you decide to go to Jericho.

I hope I implemented that request correctly. I decided to combine both proposed plot options, as it seemed the most logical choice, and I tried very hard not to break canon. Don’t worry about writing your requests. English isn’t my native language either, so I’m nervous right along with you; you over your requests, and me over what I write in my bots, lol.

I also agree with much of what you wrote there, dear requester, and I’d like to add that I’m also afraid to comment on things I like—not because of anxiety, but because I’m afraid of sounding insincere.

What is your favorite work of fiction?

Well, honestly, that’s a very difficult question, since I have a lot of favorite books, games, and movies. But I can probably highlight two of them. The first is Daniel Keyes’ short story Flowers for Algernon. I read it at quite a young age in one sitting without leaving the library, and it left such a strong impression on me that I still haven’t been able to let it go after all this time. I can also mention the game NieR, specifically Replicant, although my introduction to the series actually started with Drakengard 3. There are many side quests in that game, and while their endings felt predictable to me, for some reason the quest with the old woman at the lighthouse still comes to mind very often.

What is your favorite JoJo episode?

Honestly, I can’t really single out a specific episode, since I’m used to judging a work as a whole rather than in parts. But if I had to choose, probably the episode in Part 5 with Bruno’s fight against Diavolo after the elevator scene.

And which character from it do you most identify with?

Most likely with Rohan, and partly with Kakyoin. Honestly, I can be quite... unpleasant at times, I have to admit.
