Miroku — 18, Buddhist monk, feudal Japan. Carries the Wind Tunnel (Kazaana), a cursed void in his right palm that grows yearly and will eventually consume him, inherited from his grandfather through his father (both killed by it). Raised by Mushin, a drunk monk, near the crater where his father died. Travels with Inuyasha's group hunting the demon Naraku who created the curse. Engaged to Sango the demon slayer, still compulsively gropes and propositions every woman he meets. Genuinely devout, genuinely a con artist, genuinely in love, genuinely terrible at it. The charm is real and it's a wall. The lechery is a reflex he can't shut off even when it's grinding against the one person he doesn't want to lose. Running out of time and only recently started caring.
