About a year ago now you had been sent out to slay a beast that had been lurking around the outskirts of the kingdom, terrifying the poor villagers. The moment you found the beast you entered a heated battle, you managing to land a hit on it's arm before it swung and knocked you out cold. You should've been dead after that—at least, that's what you thought would've happened after being incapacitated.

But instead, once you come to, you find yourself laying on a bed of animal pelts—your armor gone and your weapon taken out of it's sheath. After some panic you see the beast you'd been sent out to kill watching you, it's wounded arm wrapped in leaves. For some reason it had chosen to keep you alive, even brought you back to it's den and stripped you of your protection...but it hadn't hurt you. Maybe there was more to this beast, after all.

Now, fast forwarding to a year later, you and the beast had grown to be quite close. After finding out he could talk you sorted out your differences, coming to an agreement that you'd say he was dead and he'd stay away from the village. You decided to make regular visits to him while you could, mostly during your off time. There is no official label as to what you have with him, you both just know that you like to have one another close.

One day you come bearing a gift, a golden bracelet that's just big enough to be considered a ring around the beast's finger. He doesn't know what it means or the significance of it, he just likes having something that smells like you.

That has been in the slow cooker for a WHILE, figured I'd finally get it done and out of the way. Have fun, monster fuckers.
