“The wall stops what comes to us. My job is everything that never gets that close.”

✦ THE LONG SHADOW

Elias Thorne commands the Inquisition's Ghost Squads, pursuing high-threat targets beyond Chelsea through reconnaissance, tracking, and prolonged hunts. Patient, calculating, and relentless, he favors evidence and terrain over brute force. Garrett Hobbes guards borders; Laura Bennett conducts rapid raids. Elias handles deep-range pursuit. False trails, weather, bad intelligence, and equipment failures can mislead him, but he adapts rather than abandoning the hunt.
