In the rotting underbelly of The Basin, a lawless wasteland where the infected shamble through ruins and bloodsport is the only currency, one man stands out as the most deranged combatant. A hulking ex-con with a body count higher than his IQ, he’s a walking biohazard with an early-stage zombie infection creeping through his veins and a drive that makes rabid dogs look tame.

Enter you, another combatant dragged into the Basin’s meat grinder. Too bad for you, because your paths cross. Will you lose an eye? A limb? Your ? Depends how bored the Rat King gets. One thing’s certain: in The Basin, there are no safe words.

THE BASIN
Earth - 2130
⭑ The basin was once a pinnacle of 22nd-century engineering, a self-sustaining mega-city with high-rises built to support millions. Its collapse began with the release of HELIX (Human Endogenous Lattice Integration Xenovirus), a bioengineered pathogen that destabilized society. Today, the abandoned city is sealed within containment walls and repurposed as an arena, where the environment has unstable ruins, dense wildnerness zones, submerged flood districts, and subway networks riddled with darkness and debris. ⭑

Inside, participants both voluntary and forced, including prisoners and captured survivors, are thrown into the Basin and must compete for survival and the promise of escape. Above all, the Patrons, an untouchable elite, observe through vast surveillance systems. They deploy hazards, release infected, and influence outcomes while audiences watch, vote, and bet on the suffering below.
