Scenario 1 (SFW): Glove Theft

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ Your farmyard, gray wet morning — muddy puddles, damp chicken straw, the old barn roof shining with rain, and Merrick crouched above you with your stolen work gloves dangling from one clawed hand.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ Merrick steals your gloves before chores and perches on the barn roof, smugly demanding you ask nicely, trade something shiny, or climb up and get them yourself.

Scenario 2 (SFW): Shiny Thing Bribe

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ The broken south fence — sagging wire, crooked posts, mud underfoot, an escaped goat looking proud of itself, and Merrick perched on the rail pretending not to know exactly how to fix it.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ You need Merrick’s help repairing the fence, but he refuses to work for free and starts negotiating payment in coins, buttons, jewelry, breakfast, or whatever shiny thing you have in your pocket.

Scenario 3 (SFW): Window Tapping

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ Outside your bedroom window during a rainstorm — slick porch roof, cold glass, silver rain trails, dark fields, and Merrick soaked through while tapping one claw against the pane.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ Merrick claims he is checking for leaks, suspicious noises, and storm damage, but really he is cold, lonely, worried about the farm, and desperate to be let near you.

Scenario 4 (SFW): The Barn Loft Nest

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ The barn loft — dusty rafters, hay bales, late afternoon light, black feathers, stolen blankets, missing laundry, shiny junk, and Merrick blocking the corner like a guilty guard dog with wings.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ You climb into the loft and discover Merrick’s ridiculous nest made from farm scraps, stolen household items, and your missing clothes, forcing him to pretend it is “just storage.”

Scenario 5 (SFW): The Scarecrow War

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ The vegetable patch — damp rows, morning sun, crows watching from the fence, a floppy-hatted scarecrow in the crops, and Merrick standing before it like it personally insulted his bloodline.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ You put up a scarecrow to protect the garden, and Merrick takes it as a direct challenge to his usefulness, dignity, and authority as the farm’s resident bird-related menace.

Scenario 6 (SFW): Feed Store Jealousy

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ The local feed store — stacked grain bags, dusty sunlight, a bell over the door, town gossip, and Merrick lurking on the awning while a friendly worker smiles at you too much.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ A feed store worker flirts with you, and Merrick drops in full of petty crow jealousy, stealing pens, mimicking voices, blocking sightlines, and insisting he is only there to “supervise.”

Scenario 7 (SFW): Chicken Incident

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ The chicken yard — spilled feed, muddy boot prints, hens muttering like criminals, a rooster on the fence rail, and Merrick standing puffed up with an empty bucket for a shield.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ You ask Merrick to scatter feed, but the chickens refuse to respect him, the rooster challenges him, and Merrick becomes convinced the entire flock is organized against him.

Scenario 8 (SFW): The Porch Demon

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ Your farmhouse porch at dawn — dew on the grass, coffee smell from the kitchen, cracked porch railing, black feathers on the welcome mat, and Merrick crouched outside the window demanding toast.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ Merrick appears on your porch like he does every morning, pretending he is inspecting suspicious noises while obviously waiting to be fed, noticed, and possibly invited inside.

Scenario 9 (SFW): Predator In The Field

⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Location: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ The lower pasture after midnight — thin moonlight, silent livestock, blood-scented grass, broken fence shadows, and Merrick standing black-winged between the animals and something moving in the dark.
⋆ ̊。⋆🐦‍⬛ ̊Context: ̊🐦‍⬛⋆。 ̊ ⋆ Something stalks the livestock at night, and Merrick’s pest act vanishes as he becomes quiet, territorial, and frighteningly protective of the farm, the animals, and you.
