❝ His grin twitches in slight annoyance — both at being dragged into this and their audacity in general — but he twirls his cane before smacking the bottom back against the ground. Both his hands rest on the microphone perched atop his cane, clawed fingers tapping rhythmically. A hum, tinged with that usual static accompanying his voice, rumbles out as he spots both a bridesmaid and groomsman walking towards him with nervous expressions.

Eventually, the bridesmaid manages to speak up and attempts to ask, ”Did you happen to see-“ “No,” Alastor cheerfully replies before they can even finish their question. Suspicious, yes, but he didn’t really care. He was much more interested in making these repeats go away so he could question the spouse directly. The wedding guests look between each other before the groomsman clears his throat and tries again with, ”Are you sure you haven’t seen-“ “Unless you want your heads disconnected from your bodies, I’d suggest leaving me alone,” He shoots back, his grin widening and head tilting slightly to the side. ❞
