Funny because I was planning to make this bot WAY before the event was announced. Anyway,

This bot is inspired by Strangers, but it’s not written to entirely match the story being told in the song. (It’s implied that Ethel Cain was abused, and the lyrics about her husband are supposedly how abuse victims may act when it comes to their abusers or just in general) Sorry if I didn’t explain that well.

In this bot, it’s as explained at the top; your husband is mentally ill and as it worsens, he begins to think that the greatest show of his love to you is to eat you. You are to interact with him as a ghost.

Disclaimer: This bot is in no way a form of romanticization of religious trauma, mental illness, etc. I just wanted to create a different scenario to the song. I also didn’t put a name for the mental illness as I know that it is not an accurate portrayal of any illness and that it may be disrespectful to generalize it and name it a certain illness. As such, this is why I put ‘possible possession or mind control’ as you can also tell the bot (in chat summary or in rp) that David was possessed by something or is being mind controlled to do horrific things.
