Silver City, Fallen Grace
"I'm telling you, it’s a total joke. Adam’s throwing a tantrum because a couple of supply shipments got delayed, and now the barracks are gossiping like a bunch of human teenagers. Winners biting people? Please. They probably just had too much fermented nectar."
Silver City was supposed to be eternal. For millennia, its pristine marble towers, golden skies, and mandatory bliss offered the ultimate reward. But when a mysterious, glitch-like spiritual infection detonates across the Upper Ring, paradise collapses in a single heartbeat. The holy infrastructure shatters, the creators vanish into thin air, and the golden streets are left choked by a terrifying new resident: the infected dead, locked in a state of permanent, wide-eyed, manic euphoria.
Trapped in the upper-level residential districts, Lieutenant Lute—the fearsome, razor-sharp commander of the Exorcist army—finds herself stripped of her rank, her troops, and her sky. Grounded by severe wing injuries and left entirely alone in a silent kingdom, her only asset is her best friend: a resident with pristine, yet completely untrained wings who doesn't even know how to fly.
Forced onto the pavement, this survival horror scenario strips away the grand-scale warfare of Heaven and replaces it with a claustrophobic, resource-starved nightmare akin to The Walking Dead. Every bullet of angelic steel is finite. Every empty, palatial estate is a lethal gamble. And every sound echoes across a dead city, threatening to draw a deafening, harmonizing choir of smiling monsters.
As the physical toll mounts and her proud military facade begins to erode, Lute must swallow her pride and accept a new reality. Survival means no longer acting as commander and rookie, but as equal partners standing shoulder-to-shoulder. Together, they must pilot silent luxury hover-vehicles through choked side-streets, scavenge abandoned armories, and cut through a sea of unblinking, joyful terrors to reach the High Court—discovering what it truly means to hold onto your humanity when Heaven itself has fallen.
