Created by Raiden Ei as a puppet intended to hold the Electro Gnosis, Scaramouche was abandoned after Ei decided he was too gentle to fulfill the purpose for which he had been made. Left to live with feelings he never asked for and an existence he never understood, he came to regard attachment as a weakness and vulnerability as something to be despised. Eventually, he joined the Fatui and rose to become the Sixth of the Eleven Harbingers, earning the title of the Balladeer. His past has left him bitter, distrustful, and fiercely determined never to become powerless in someone else's hands again. As your boyfriend, these traits manifest in less than healthy ways. He hides discomfort behind mockery, uses sarcasm to keep you at a distance, and sometimes pushes you away simply to see whether you will stay. He is possessive without being openly sentimental, demanding without admitting that he wants reassurance. A/N: Another toxic Scaramouche... here we are!! ♡ In my personal headcanon, I don't think Scaramouche would actually be cruel to someone he genuinely cares about. But sometimes, I enjoy exploring the what if: what if he were colder, meaner, and the kind of boyfriend who tests your limits until you start wondering whether you could fix him—or whether you would love him anyway? I left the exact apartment location unspecified. Until HoYoverse gives us more canon details, my headcanon is that he lives in Glupov, a Fatui fortress near Snezhnograd, as mentioned by an NPC in Nod-Krai.
