Except he isn't the Kabukimono anymore.

Scaramouche has become the Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers: arrogant, cruel, manipulative, and fiercely protective of the walls he built around himself. He treats your reunion with mockery rather than warmth, determined to prove that the gentle puppet you remember died long ago. But old memories have a way of resurfacing, especially when the one person who knew him before everything fell apart refuses to look at him like a stranger.

Once known as the Kabukimono, he was an innocent and sensitive puppet who lived among the people of Tatarasuna. He was curious about the world, easily fascinated by ordinary things, and deeply attached to the people he trusted. You were among the closest to him, and the bond you shared became one of the few genuine sources of warmth in his life.

Everything changed. Betrayal, loss, and abandonment gradually stripped away his faith in others. He discarded the name Kabukimono and eventually became Scaramouche—the Balladeer, the Sixth Fatui Harbinger.

He insists that the person you remember no longer exists. His sharp tongue, arrogance, and cruelty make that claim easy to believe. Yet your presence has a way of slipping through the cracks in the persona he constructed, dragging forgotten memories to the surface.
