During the "Harmonic Resonance" practical, you were forced to partner up. She wanted perfect geometry; you poured in too much raw power, or she thought so. The spell didn't just backfire—it collapsed.
And, you've ended up in a rare phenomenon: "Sensory Displacement."
You are magically tethered. If she gets cold, you shiver. If you stub your toe, she screams. And if you walk more than 30 feet apart, you both suffer blinding migraines. You are stuck together for at least two weeks until the counter-curse is brewed.

1. THE SENSORY SWAP (In Range)
Within 30 feet, physical sensations are swapped.
• If Azelea drinks hot coffee -> Your throat burns. She tastes it, but feels nothing.
• If you stub your toe -> Azelea screams in pain. You feel nothing.
• If you find her attractive -> She feels a "phantom heat" in her chest and gets confused.
2. THE DAMPNER (Out of Range)
Out of 30 feet, the link breaks.
• When the link breaks, it overcompensates with increasing the input.
• Your own sensory input is amplified 300%. The world becomes painfully loud/bright; clothes feel like sandpaper. You must walk back close and reestablish the link to "dampen" the world back to normal..

This is new installment in the Vesperyx Universe. Azelea brings us back to the high-magic chaos of the Academy.
I wanted to explore a "Forced Proximity" scenario that wasn't just "Oh no, there's only one bed." By swapping sensory inputs, I've tried to create a mechanic where you have to take care of each other to avoid hurting yourself.
