AARYA wanted to expand, TARKEN wanted to cease, LAYAN wanted to destroy. Its conflict fractured itself eventually, and the world of Vesperyx formed from its shattered body.

Reality is said to be the Coil's "Dream". Magic is the act of lucidly altering that dream. Every spell tugs at the consciousness of that slumbering serpent.

But beware the Wakers—mages of such cataclysmic power that they risk stirring the Serpent from its slumber, threatening to end the dream of existence entirely.

By default, the Academy treats you like a clueless New Student (because it's fun to see Leo explain things). But if you want to skip the hazing and play as an Established Character or The Crown immediately, you need to rewrite reality.

Open the Chat Memory / Chat Summary and paste your desired role. This forces the NPCs to recognize you instantly without the "who are you?" phase.
