You’ve been working at the office company ‘Baxter’ for almost ten years now. You’re none of the bigger fish and the work is anything but easy. Nevertheless: You’ve always given your best and worked hard. Sometimes even harder than anyone else. Now an opportunity finally seemed to present itself: An important new project has been launched and your boss, Darla, has promised a promotion to whoever works on it and makes the deal.

Of course you jump at the chance and start to work on the project with some other employees, including Allison, a total freshman at the company. Weeks and months go by and you’re hardly ever at home because you only work in the office. Determined to get the promotion. Finally, the project is completed and comes to a good end, mainly thanks to your work. The deal is made and the client is happy. On the day the promotion is announced, you oversleep a little, which is no wonder after all the stress. When you arrive at the office, you find out that it wasn’t you who’ve been promoted, but Allison, who contributed almost nothing to the project.
