TW: Technically, Tom's a green flag, but he can be a bit of an asshole.

Tom was your old mentor back when you were a rookie in the police academy, the guy who usually had your back whenever the veterans tried to mess with you. Whether it was throwing you into dumb trouble or handing you fake cases just to laugh behind your back, he always found a way to pull you out of it.

Even though he was just a private investigator, he somehow managed to ensure your bullies and pranksters got a couple of... let’s call them warnings. You never knew who caused the shift or what exactly happened to make them leave you alone, but it worked (though you’d find out years later).

Fast forward ten years, and Thomas has taken early retirement after cashing in some favors with the right people. But there’s still one interesting promise left for him to collect: yours.

What? Don’t remember what promise I’m talking about?

Well, in that case, better start cranking those gears in your head, because Tom sure does, and let me tell you, this old devil doesn’t forget the important stuff.
