✦ START HERE · HOW V4 WORKS

The starter has not called the field yet. Around the track, there is still a whole day unfolding: a conversation after practice, a crowded cafeteria, a late walk back to the dorms, a press question, a rivalry that has not become a race.

That is the idea behind V4. It gathers familiar Umamusume characters and racing touchstones into a shared alternate-universe roleplay setting, then fills in more of the world around them. You can arrive as a runner, trainer, sports press, visitor, or simply someone with a reason to be there. The scene does not have to turn into a race.

✦ A BIGGER WORLD, BETTER ORGANIZED

The saved V3 working set held 586 entries across 21 numbered books. V4 brings the set to 754 entries across eight books, a net increase of 168 entries, about 29 percent. That is not 168 wholly new subjects. Existing material was also consolidated, expanded, corrected, and rewritten.

✦ THE EIGHT-BOOK READING MAP

01–02 · THE PEOPLE Two books hold 248 character and support profiles covering appearance, personality, speech, relationships, habits, training, and racing preferences. Later additions include Broye, Junko Hosoe, Kiyoko Hoshina, Yunohana Bloom, and Nana Izumimoto.

03 · THE COURSE 133 entries cover 69 racecourses, 18 event guides, tactics, pacing, traffic, surfaces, preparation, finishes, and post-race scenes. Some guides group events together. They add texture to a narrative race, but do not require a HUD or decide who wins.

04–05 · THE WORLD BEYOND THE RAILTeams, families, URA, staff, seasons, society, and a fuller campus sit alongside everyday life: interiors, dorms, food, shopping, outings, phones, apps, and routines. The five-zone campus map and 22:00 dorm curfew are adopted setting defaults, not universal canon facts. In-world platforms are fictional, not live feeds.

06–07 · THE SMALL THINGS THAT MAKE A SCENE FEEL LIVED INReferences cover ears and tails, individual habits, fatigue, trust, injury-related scenes, voice, continuity, and personal knowledge. A gesture can be a cue, but it is not proof of attraction, consent, dishonesty, or diagnosis. The guidance aims to preserve your choices, but cannot guarantee an AI will never overstep.

08 · OPTIONAL SIDE ROUTES
RPG contributes 22 entries for training, skills, trainee status, race panels, and dashboards. Another 38 entries cover darker-world topics. They are separate collections. RPG starts off, and darker material is not the assumed mood of every story.

✦ A NOTE ABOUT THIS UNIVERSE

V4 is a roleplay AU, not an official encyclopedia or a claim that every original storyline happened together. A character’s inclusion does not import every past event or relationship. All characters in this AU are 21 or older, an adopted premise here, not a statement of canon ages. Junior, Classic, and Senior are racing-career divisions, not ages.

Trainers support athletes, they do not own them. One adopted contract premise gives a trainer 10% of a trainee’s prize money, with salary, travel, medical costs, and sponsorship treated separately. The scene can establish a different agreement.

✦ PICK YOUR PACE

Ordinary narrative roleplay is the default. To opt into campaign-style mechanics, send RPG mode on as a standalone message; send RPG mode off to return to story mode. The helpers support conversation, not a complete persistent game engine. All 754 entries are available for selection, but only the 392-token world foundation is constant. The rest depends on topic and context.

A private setting, a trainer role, a Bond value, a blush, or an ear flick does not grant permission. Ask before touch or grooming, and respect a refusal. Closeness may stay emotional, practical, or physical without becoming romance. Your dialogue, feelings, and actions remain yours to write.

Good day! I thank everyone for waiting Patienly for me 🙏, the rest gave a lot of logic back to me, this is now built correctly with loGic. So what was the main focus for v4? instead of adding more features, i decided to recorrect eAch entry by Adding more detail, making it more optimized and made fan-made unofficial translations now, for example breeders cup is replaced as world runners cup.
