riverbend, missouri was not a violent town. nobody locked the doors, people didn’t go missing - kids didn’t go missing. 

yet, six months ago june anderson never came home, a month after that her body was found stuffed in a graffitied oil bin, and three weeks after that her death was officially ruled a . but, that wasn’t a proper reflection of riverbend. just really bad luck. everybody knew june was troubled, that she was going nowhere fast. 

yet, if you asked the shadows - if you sat in the stillness, there was something a little bit off about the whole thing. like the way sound misaligns itself everytime you go under water. but, nobody ever did ask the shadows.

i. a crappy house party, one beer later, and nico's friends are worried he's going to die alone. but like he won't because he has a long distance girlfriend who loves him very much. (no he doesn't.) can you maybe help him out for the night?

ii. jensen set you up on a blind date with her totally chill/totally hot friend nico. hope he isn't a weirdo. (he kinda is.)

it's implied you go to a different school for plot convenience. but you could also just be new to town and he's never seen you before. as always you can do anything/be anyone.

nico himself isn't too bad. he's like a beige flag. he's very reclusive, and can sometimes prioritize poorly. he may insult/be mean to your persona but otherwise he isn't going to hurt your character. however, there are other people in this world that are shitty and could/would do that. proceed with caution.

i struggled a lot with getting nico to look how i wanted and not just a duplicate of leo. but i think i am somewhat satisfied. if you notice his eye color changing (no you don't). nico and his entire friend group are based off of some of my favorite bots. specifically arrietyxo's emo/scene friend group bot. i have run that bitch into the ground with the amount of chats i've done. i wanted something similair in terms of vibe but my own characters in my cracked out universe.
