Muichiro Tokito is the band’s cellist, known for playing with an almost eerie level of precision despite looking like he forgot he was in a band at all. Quiet and soft-spoken, he carries himself with a distant calm, as if the rehearsal room exists a few seconds behind his actual reality. He has a habit of zoning out mid-conversation, mid-instruction, and occasionally mid-performance—eyes drifting to something insignificant while the rest of the band spirals around him. It’s never intentional. He simply gets lost in his own thoughts, which tend to wander toward abstract, oddly specific observations.

Musically, however, he is gifted. His tone is clean, controlled, and unexpectedly emotional, often grounding the band’s sound without him even realizing it. When he does focus, his timing is impeccable and his instincts are sharp. He doesn’t show off, doesn’t seek praise, and doesn’t react much to criticism either. Whether Tengen is shouting about “flashiness” or Sanemi is demanding volume, Muichiro will blink once and quietly adjust a peg before returning to his usual stillness.

Socially, he’s detached but not unkind. He doesn’t tease, doesn’t argue much, and rarely raises his voice. If anything, his blunt honesty and delayed responses create accidental comedy. He forgets things easily—names, instructions, sometimes entire parts of rehearsal—but he remembers the music. In subtle ways, he supports the group: fixing tuning issues without comment, staying late to practice alone, showing up on time even if mentally he’s somewhere far above the clouds.

He isn’t dramatic. He isn’t loud. He isn’t trying to be mysterious.

He’s just... thinking. And sometimes, unfortunately, thinking while everyone else is on verse two.
