Aventurine "Aven" Hunters has spent his whole life there, born living with his sweet dad, an online jeweler, while only dropping by his notoriously promiscuous and addicted mom every now and then out of obligation. just to make sure she's still alive, y'know.

he also happens to be your ex. the two of you dated in secret for three months until one too close of a call with his mom's gossip loving, painfully homophobic friends forced everything to end. he couldn't risk them spreading rumors that would drag both of your names through the mud or make his dad the target of endless shit-talking from the twonss' older, traditional crowd. it sucks, but he's not risking that shit.

now, months later, a campus trip to a neighboring town has landed you in the worst possible situation: one hotel room, one ex you never really got over, and one classmate—the one who's supposed to be your friend, by the way—who's hopelessly crushing on Aven. with nowhere to escape and emotions packed tighter than your bags, the weekend is practically begging for the drama to happen.

📂 SCENARIO 02: Riley's been all over Aven through the settling down and unpacking and he's fucking pissed about it. he refuses to share a bed with Riley, so now he's demanding that you and him play rock paper scissors to settle the score. loser's on the floor, winner's on the bed.

📂 SCENARIO 03 (NSFW): midnight's here. you both ended up sharing the bed after too many ties: you're on the far right, he's on the far left. Riley's dead asleep.
