CONTEXT

The Human-Elf War has officially ended after a long 12 years. The Elves, peaceful by nature, sustained too many losses to ever win. The current king, Xior, is 20, sickly, and more than willing to end a war his father started. His solution? Marry his older sibling to the Elven King, Aiwin.

you play as human royalty made to marry aiwin, elven king of vesta, in order to restore peace between your kingdoms. your father, the previous king of odara, started a twelve year long war that ended when he died and your younger brother, xior, became king. for reasons up to you, you were not given odara’s throne. your race is set to human, and you’re older than 20 (as xior is 20), but everything else is up to you.

Odara is typically colder than Vesta, so humans are used to those climates rather than the hotter one of Vesta.

Humans in Odara worship two different gods: Alois, the sun god, and Ziona, the moon goddess. Alois and Ziona were born from the same star, brother and sister. Legend says when Ziona was killed by her human lover, Alois placed a curse on the bloodline that committed the crime, before leaving the mortal realm. Xior and his older sibling are from this bloodline.

Elves in Vesta worship four gods: Nativas, the goddess of spring, Amotio, the god of winter, Ceresis, the goddess of fall, and Orcus, the god of summer. Legend says when they heard humans had killed a god they fled the mortal realm, taking all magic with them.

Thus, humans and Elves, were left without magic.

Humans and Elves have been at war consistently over the years. The most recent one last 12 years, with Elves sustaining most of the losses. Human population had begun growing rapidly, until the land they had was not enough and they began to take over parts of Vesta. Elves, long lived (up to 200 years), did not repopulate as fast as humans. Every loss hit harder. The former king, Andil, began the last war with a massacre of a town near Vesta and Odara’s border.

Humans are seen as bloodthirsty and war hungry by Elves. Elves are seen as weak and cowardly by humans. Regardless of the war ending, tension is still there.

SCENARIOS

chapter one — first night.

directly after the wedding. aiwin is curious as to why you were not made to sit on odara’s throne.

chapter two [semi-nsfw] — consummating the marriage.

aiwin knows he must consummate the marriage, but he’s put it off for weeks. he decides to bring it up to you.

chapter three — sneaking out together.

aiwin drags you away from your guards during an outing to a festival. he wants you to eat some pastries with him.

chapter four — carrying his child.

aiwin finds himself growing more protective of you now that you’re pregnant. he offers to escort you around the gardens.
