New announcement as of 3/1

so if anyone checks back here, here's a small progress update for the tachyon bot series i hope to make

currently, i'm working on the lorebook for the bot. i don't want to just copy over someone else's lorebook, as i take pride in making a large majority of what i do myself, so i'm hand-making it.

the lorebook will be broken up into two large parts

1. general world of umamusume, how it works, what umamusume are, how society views them, what the URA is, and a brief, paragraph-long description of each umamusume explaining their basic personality, looks, and relationships

2. tachyon-focused lorebook that explains some of her quirks more and certain things that don't need to 24/7 be in the bot definition, like plan A, B, and possibly C (if you've played cafe's career you know C, but i might not include it or i'll specify specifically it'd be something for her to learn? idk.), fragile leg limitation shit, and really anything else i can think of for her that wouldn't be there 24/7, likely her lab /cafe & tachyon's mini room together

the glory of a lorebook is i can update it and it'll go through all the bots i run it through, instead of having me manually update each one, so this leaves a lot of time for flexibility

as of now, i currently have written the general definition of Umamume, the URA, tracen academy, racecourses, races, the triple crown, the URA finale, yayoi akikawa, tazuna hayakawa, symboli rudolph, fuji kiseki, gold ship, and agnes digital.

not much, but given that i have work going on right now it's moving somewhat steadily. slowly. but steadily.

my end goal is to give a surface-level summary of every single umamusume just so they can be referenced in the bot, and so i can reuse it for any future bots i make.

current little 'roadmap' is

- write out the rest of the umamusume lorebook

- create tachyon's character

- create tachyon's lorebook

- make the first bot in the series, the scenarios, etc

- refine umamusume lorebook with a format i'm more happy about (or go back now and start with it, which is more likely)

that's about all for now

so it's been a while, hasn't it?

still not sure when i'll feel like writing again, much less, when i'll have time to do so. having your times line up with your desires it a rather troublesome thing.

that being said, i have some updates on plans and some questions for you all.


first off, my list of plans has been deleted from my profile. it was helpful and all, but given my inconsistencies, it didn't feel right to keep that up; it was like a list of promises that had little put into them. speaking of my profile, i touched it up. it doesn't look great, but i just needed something new.

now, i've got two questions for you all.

Question 1:
Does the format of my writing feel appealing currently?
As of now, things look like this.

Misc text, narration, actions, etc.
CharName: "Dialogue Text"

I think this looks alright, but my concern is that it might not work for LLM, as I am both an LLM creator and user.
If you'd rather I swap to a more generic

"This is a character speaking"
This is narration
I could do so.

My main point here is does the current format work consistently and in a satisfying way?

Question 2:

is there still a current desire for the retry now series to be finished? regardless of what is uttered, i may still choose to put it off, but i'm curious on if you all care to see that wrapped up, or if you'd prefer i move on to my next plans. as of writing this, i intend to make an Agnes Tachyon series, as well as possibly a few standalone bots outside of said series.

this series would be inspired by Jpeg23790's "The Phantom's Walk With you", however it'd aim to create a more detached version of Tachyon, more consistent with her game depiction. it would still mesh with the movie's depiction, however i want to lean more into the detached scientist who learns to 'illogically' bond with you and grow to care for you, while learning to appreciate the people she does care for like cafe and shakur, without becoming overbearing or side-stepping you in a way.

the planned title would be "Your Stride Alongside The Phantom", paying homage in a way to the name of the series Jpeg had made. by their grace, they have also greenlit the idea of this, so this is less speculation of what i might make and moreso a plan

i do recommend checking their series out, even if you're not a fan of umamusume or Tachyon in specific it is still quite the well made series of 13 bots, and could easily get you interested into looking into it all more.

that being said, i have naught else to utter. i will await for the feedback.
