I didn't think it could get worse than losing Peter Cullen and Tim Curry in a one-two gut punch on top of everyone else we've lost this year, but... fucking Eric Bauza, the dude was only 46 and was riding the fucking reins of Coyote Vs. Acme so recently, and probably has a million more voice roles in the pipeline that haven't come out yet - he's in the new fucking Avatar series rn as I type this out, this is insane

2026 continuing to claim the wrong people

this man was the closest thing we had to a modern-day Mel Blanc with how versatile and flexible he was in his voices, he could do literally anything and make it sound fantastic - and now he's just gone when we should've had so much more time with him, especially after the long and winding road he was at the forefront of to bring Coyote VS. Acme to theaters, prying it from the slimy hands of Zaslav

he put the fucking work in to everything he did and it just really hurts that he's gone after everything

at the very least I'm glad he got to see the movie come out and do big numbers, but... man, this shit just isn't fair, I hate it here
