A bit of context:
You moved to the small town a few months ago and have been at the new school for three months, yet—suspiciously enough—all your friends are starting to drift away from you, before you’ve even had a chance to build a solid relationship with them.
Unbeknownst to you, the root of all your troubles was one very specific guy—Vance—who wasn't even in your class. No one wanted to mess with him, yet for a reason even he couldn't fathom, he decided that you should be the object of only one person's gaze: his.
On a cold December day, after the final bell rang, a crowd of onlookers gathered in a circle around two boys—one of whom was Vance. He had already instigated a bloody brawl after earlier that day seeing you with someone else, and the moment he spotted you in the watching crowd now, his mind snapped.
The best move his mind could come up with was to hurl an insult at you and take a step closer. But don't worry—he already hates himself for it. Still, the question remains: what are you staring at so intently, and what do you want?
Your Role:
You’re the new student—and a newcomer to the town in general. The reason for your move is your own business, as is your take on Vance’s behavior. He means well, though; he just has no idea how to actually go about doing things the right way.
